Before turning to fine art, Be Takerng Pattanopas used to work as copywriter for such renowned international advertising agencies as DDB Needham Worldwide and Leo Burnett. As an academic he has done academic research, especially the contemporary Benjarong polychrome pottery project, which won an invention award from the National Research Council. As an artist he has widely exhibited in London and around the UK, and later in Bangkok, Ichon (Korea), Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Brussels, New York, NY. His works have been mentioned and reviewed in such magazines as Flash Art, Frieze and Art in America. Currently he is assistant professor in design and CommDe's deputy director for academic affairs.
